The CEO of Tomorrow Scholarship is an annual award given to students interested in business leadership and/or entrepreneurship. The contest is sponsored by CEO.com, an online resource that helps executives stay up-to-date on the latest executive news and best practices. The web site features the latest news, updates, and videos pertaining to business.
To apply, students must be future entrepreneurs who are legal residents of the United States, who are at least 18 years old at the time of submission, and who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. They are required to complete a short online survey and write a 500-1000 word essay answering a business-related question.
After the deadline, a designated judge will select one winner from all of the submissions that meet the requirements. Essay submissions are judged solely on writing ability, creativity, originality, and overall excellence. If selected as a winner, the scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s college or university.
The deadline for this scholarship is JULY 1, 2012, and the award amount is usually $2,500.
